Rookies in Music Mentorship Program

Mission: To provide guidance, resources, and networking opportunities for youth and young adults in underserved communities who are trying to pursue a career in music performance, event and entertainment management, and music production.

  • Resumé Building & Maintenance
  • Networking & Career Building
  • Public Speaking
  • Social Media Branding & Media Kit Prep
  • College Audition Prep
  • Instrumental Lessons (Additional Cost)
  • Music Recording & Production-Offered through a partnering music production company (Additional Cost)
  • Music Arranging (Additional Cost)

COST

  • $250 per Student (payment plans available)
  • The program is offered once a year (Fall Semester) in order to meet audition and scholarship requirements for the following academic year. Students applying for college would also receive letters of recommendation from their Mentor.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be a high school student going into their Senior year
  • Must be a current music student (Choir/Band/Orchestra)
  • Must maintain a cumulative 2.5 GPA (A copy of transcripts must be sent with application)
  • Must submit a video stating why and how you would benefit from this opportunity
